| Asahi Kasei has company housing and residences in work locations across Japan. Generally, any employee may use these as long as requirements are met. As a rule, fees for residences are 30% of actual rent. Employees may also select their own private sector apartments, which the company will rent for employees to use as company housing or residences.

We have many in-house systems to support employees' lifestyles, and have put in place an environment that enables employees to work effectively and also to spend time with their families. For example, when employees are transferred to assignments that require them to live away from their families, the company will cover round-trip travel expenses to and from the family's location up to 14 times each year.
